The Fred’s Pass is one of the most popular events on the calendar and is an institution not only in the Rural Area but across the Top End.
The 2017 Show is the 38th show and promises to be one of the most entertaining with three days of fun and enjoyment for the whole family. We are keen to see a big involvement from all in the local community. I urged you (whatever your age) to enter into the various areas of competition. It is a lot of fun!
The Show allows local businesses to demonstrate their wares and why we need whatever they’ve got. The wood chopping is always a highlight with those larrikins from Tasmania. The Animal Nursery, along with the equestrian, sporting events, the craft and cooking exhibits and concert all add to the fun.
Litchfield Council is proud to be a supporter of the Freds Pass Rural Show and I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate the other sponsors, stall holders and volunteers who support this important community event.
On behalf of my fellow Councillors I look forward to seeing you at the show and having the opportunity to share with you the achievements of our community.
I extend my congratulations to all members of the Show Committee for creating and presenting the 2017 Show, Enjoy!
