Welcome to another Fred’s Pass Rural Show, the show that is the best in the Northern Territory. While the popular rural show may not be the oldest or the biggest, it is by far the most popular show with its distinct rural themes and activities. Hay stacking, equestrian, wood chopping, poultry, goats, arts, crafts, eggs and the animal nursery featuring mothers and babies – the only one at Territory show.
From small beginnings the show has grown in stature and popularity and is popular also with commercial exhibitors show casing products for farmers, fruit growers, block owners and ordinary small businesses. Each year more businesses get involved with the show and make it a top attraction for town and bush people alike.
To make the show happen, there is a small and dedicated team of organisers supported by many volunteers over the two days who give their time freely and happily. However, more volunteers are needed always so if you have a spare bit of time, the show organisers would be keen to hear from you.
Thank you to the show committee, volunteers, judges and the many school, sporting and community groups who get behind the show and make it such a successful event.
Please enjoy the 2017 Fred’s Pass Show.
Best wishes and regards
