Important information for equestrian competitors

Show Tickets

All competitors must purchase show entrance tickets in order to access the showgrounds.  It is highly recommended that tickets be purchased online at www.fredspassruralshow.com.au.  Electronic/printed tickets will be scanned at the gate and an equestrian wristband will be given to the holder, enabling in/out access for the duration of that day (or for the weekend if a weekend pass is purchased).  Alternatively, tickets/wristbands can be purchased from the Show Office from Tuesday 3rd May to Friday 13th May 8.30 am to 5 pm.

Equestrian Gate

There will be no ticket sales at the Equestrian Gates (entry to the stable area off the Central Corridor).  If you have not pre-purchased your ticket, you will need to go to the Melville Way Gate to purchase one there.  The Equestrian Gate opens at 6 am.  All person in a vehicle entering the equestrian gate will need to have a ticket/wristband.

Drop Off Area

There will be no vehicle access to the area near the stable during the show, and all parking will be over the pipeline opposite the stables in the Lakeview Hall area.  No car parking passes will be required as equestrian competitors will be identifiable by their wristband colour. Please follow the directions of the traffic controllers when crossing the Central Corridor.

For out-of-town equestrian competitors, camping is available near Lakeview Hall at a nominal cost.  Please contact the Show Office on 0488588202 or email info@fredspassruralshow.org.au for details.

Due to the fireworks starting at 8 pm, no horses are to be stabled near the arena on Saturday night.  Stabling near Lakeview Hall is available if needed.
