Paddock to Plate

The Paddock to Plate Marquee is a popular feature of the Freds Pass Rural Show, and showcases aspects of the rural area’s agricultural, horticulture, organic farming, native plant and bush tucker industries plus our locally produced meat, poultry & fish fresh from the farm and water to the kitchen.

A delicious assortment of locally grown, made or produced products will be used in cooking demonstrations by some local home chefs.

Demonstrations will run throughout the two days and include tastings, product presentations and information sessions on growing, preparing and using local produce.

Everything from bush herbs & spices, exotic fruits and crisp Asian vegetables to locally made beef jerky, fresh farmed NT barramundi and buffalo will be featured to try.
